IEM is off to a Winning Start

Astralis CS started their IEM Beijing-Haidian run with a clean 2-0 win against ENCE.

The BO3 started on Dust 2, and the first map was close, with ENCE leading 6-9 at half time. In the second half, however, Astralis pulled a strong T-side, taking the map 16-11.

Next up was Inferno, which took the teams through a swift first half, with Astralis reaching the notorious 11-4 lead at half time. The momentum wasn't lost during the second half either. In fact, the Astralis team took home the map and the match with a convincing 16-4 score.

The first match of IEM also saw dev1ce's highest map rating for 2020, so far; with a 2.15 rating and an ADR of 137.7 on Inferno.

We will play again tomorrow, on Saturday, November 14, CET 18:30 against mousesports, who defeated BIG 2-1 earlier today, Friday.
