Our Regional Major Ranking campaign started today at 15:50 with a fixture against Ninjas in Pyjamas. It was a close best of one against the 11th best team in the world, which resulted in a loss.
The last time we fought against NIP on the chosen map, Nuke, we won 16-11 at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
Today the score was almost similar, but unfortunately not in favor of Astralis, following a 10-16 score.
After a tremendous first round from blameF, clutching against three opponents, the half didn't end with continued success. With a score of 5-10, the team was eager to fight back in the second half.
Our CT side started amazingly by winning five rounds in a row, tying the score at 10-10 with the help of a marvelous clutch from Farlig.
Despite a good start to the second half, NIP fought back and clinched the victory 10-16.
We are now 0-1 in the swiss system, which means that we are facing another opponent tomorrow with a similar score.
